Design and tradition reimagined

Quiet elegance

A place with history can change without losing its soul.
When redesigning Dolomites Hotel Carmen, one thing mattered above all: creating contemporary architecture without losing the identity built over generations. Working with our architect Stefan Gamper, we carefully evolved the hotel, bringing historical details together with clean lines, natural materials and modern design.
The diamond pattern, originally found in the wooden panelling of the lobby and dining room, became the design’s guiding motif. Today it appears in the guest rooms and most strikingly on the façade, where vertical timber elements create an interplay of light and shadow. Wood, natural stone and warm tones preserve the hotel’s connection to its Alpine setting and its past.

Rooted in its history. Reimagined for the future.

Sun terrace

Take a seat and enjoy the view

Our sun terrace pairs a relaxed atmosphere with a truly special view. Settle into a comfortable lounge seat, enjoy an aperitif or wind down after the day, with the majestic Sassolungo and the Dolomites always in sight.

Whether basking in the sunshine or warming up by the fire in the evening, this is a favourite spot to slow down, savour the moment and simply be.
